Overview
Uloomz is an Islamic educational app designed for families. We take privacy seriously — especially because our app is intended to be used by young learners with parental involvement. This policy explains what information we handle and how we handle it.
What we collect
Uloomz stores the following data locally on your device only:
- A display name entered during setup
- Learning progress (lessons completed, streaks, lanterns)
- App preferences (daily goal, color choice)
We do not operate any servers that collect or store your personal information. All data lives only on your device and can be deleted at any time from the app's settings.
Children and parental consent
If this app is being used by a child, we require that a parent or guardian set up the app and consent to its use on the child's behalf. By setting up the app, the supervising adult confirms they have the authority to do so.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental involvement. The display name stored in the app should not include a full name or any other identifying information.
No advertising or tracking
Uloomz contains no advertising. We do not use analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or third-party cookies. We do not build profiles of users. We do not share any data with third parties.
Your rights
You can delete all data stored by the app at any time by going to Profile → Clear data. This permanently removes all stored progress and preferences from your device.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be noted within the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
